MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING – May 22, 2006 6:15 PM
Selectmen Present: Eric R. Munson, Jr., James Deming, Wesley Greene II and
Steven Dellaguistina
Received Lawn Care Bids for the weekly maintenance of six Tolland Locations:
Eric R. Munson, Jr. removed himself from the bids.
LaCasse Land Management, LLC Provide weekly lawn mowing and lawn care at a cost of $300.00 which would include trimming around all tombstones as well as trimming around all outbuildings, also included would be any edging needed (does not include any future seeding or fertilizing)
Gary O’Brien – Provide weekly lawn mowing and lawn care for the following locations:
· Town Green (RTE 57) and Clubhouse Road $40
· Town Library 23 Clubhouse Road $25
· Town Hall 241 West Granville Road $35
· Spring Hill Cemetery (RTE57) $65
· South Quarter Cemetery – Rivers Road $30
· Burt Hill Cemetery – Burt Hill Road $24
· Total $219/mowing
· All prices are for each time mowed and all prices include mowing and trimming.
Eric R. Munson, III Provide weekly lawn mowing and law care for the Burt Hill Cemetery at a cost $35/mowing estimating 18 cuts totaling $630.00. (which does not include fall leaf cleanup) Starting July 1st and running through October 1, 2006.
The Board of Selectmen felt it would be best not to break out any particular property. The two remaining bids will be tabled until a Certificate of Insurance is received.
Wes also stated that towards the end of the season some lawns may not need to be mowing and that would need to be considered. It was stated that a contract would state all requirements.
John Panaia informed the Selectmen that he hired Four Sons Landscaping to prepare and seed The South Quarter Cemetery. Original company hired to hydro seed cemetery failed to return phone calls
